Directed and written by Riyas Marath, Anomie marks his first feature film, and it's nothing short of a powerful debut. Riyas brings a unique perspective to storytelling—his scenes are layered with emotion, tension, and meaning.

While the film retains the entertaining "masala" elements typical of regional cinema, it manages to break genre conventions with depth, nuance, and compelling performances.
